The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic and resistant fabric, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. This fabric is designed with maritime motifs that evoke the nature of water, such as undulating shapes that simulate sea waves. The design is made up of dark tones such as night black and blood brown, and the steelblue tone that simulates the depth of the water.
To combine this fabric, plain tones in the same colors present in the design can be used, as well as neutral tones such as white or gray that will highlight the printed design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that the design is only present on one side of the fabric.
The fabric has general characteristics such as its elastic texture and chlorine resistance, as well as its very high UV protection factor 50+. The fabric is perfect for applications in lingerie, swimwear, as well as sportswear such as leotards or leggings.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at low temperature and do not tumble dry. For dry cleaning, it is recommended to avoid the use of trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to produce this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design to the fabric by vaporizing the design printed on a special sublimation paper onto the surface of the fabric, which guarantees a sharp and durable print.
