Recycled Lycra is a type of Lycra fabric made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design features fruit, animal, moon, and star motifs in purple, black, and orange tones. This design is ideal for making childrens and sports swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits.
The fabric has a soft and elastic texture, and features a chlorine-resistant finish with very high UV protection. Its printing technology is sublimation (polyester), which guarantees high image quality and durability of the single-sided printed pattern. In addition, this recycled fabric has GRS certification, ensuring its sustainability.
The applications and uses of Recycled Lycra go beyond making swimwear and childrens clothing. It is also suitable for making hair ties and scrunchies.
For its care, it is recommended not to bleach the garment, wash at a maximum of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying.
