This Polyester Lycra fabric, known as Cairo, has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Printed with a floral pattern composed of black and white drawings, this fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, perfect for sportswear, lingerie, swimwear, and tops. The main colors of the design are multicolored, making it easy to combine with other solid colors such as black, white, green, or pink. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
The general characteristics of this fabric include good chlorine resistance and excellent UV protection, with a very high rating of 50+. Polyester Lycra is a durable and resistant fabric that adapts well to different body movements and shapes, providing great comfort to the user. On the other hand, the black and white floral design is elegant and sophisticated, ideal for a wide range of garments and accessories.
Among the applications and uses of this Lycra fabric are sportswear for men, women, and children, lingerie such as bodysuits or bras, tops, and bikinis. It can also be used for making swimsuits and other fashion garments. In addition, this fabric is perfect for making accessories such as scrunchies.
It is important to keep in mind a series of care instructions when treating this fabric: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and do not tumble dry. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation, which allows designs to be applied directly to the fabric fibers, providing excellent image quality and a durable finish. The sublimation process is carried out by exposing sublimation ink to high temperatures and pressures, causing it to dissolve into the polyester fiber and permanently fix onto the fabric.
