The fabric we are discussing is the Jersey Knit with Cotton Feel - Athens, a knit fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design boasts attributes such as simplicity, home decoration, and nature, featuring a pattern dominated by plants and petals in multi-colored tones that convey a fresh and youthful vibe. This color combination could easily be paired with solid marine, grey, or mint tones. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the fabrics characteristics, its soft and elastic texture stands out, making it very comfortable to wear and pleasant to the touch. The design printed on the fabric gives it an aesthetic that combines simplicity and elegance, making it perfect for both apparel and home decor items. Additionally, we can mention that its use is primarily intended for the winter and autumn-winter 2021 seasons.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are lingerie, pajamas, dresses, tops, sweaters, cardigans, as well as accessories like scarves, shawls, and socks. In the realm of decoration, it can be used for making blankets and napkins, among other items.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash at maximum temperatures of 30ºC, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying. While dry cleaning is permitted, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, a process by which ink turns into gas when heated and adheres to the fabric to form the printed design. This method allows for excellent image resolution and a soft, durable finish in the print.
