Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft and elastic fabric, with a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. Its printed design features complexity and reflects bright and iridescent styles in multi-color shades. This design can be complemented with plain fabrics in blue, pink, or yellow tones. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
In terms of its general characteristics, Recycled Lycra is a perfect fabric for swimwear and sportswear, but it can also be used for accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies. Additionally, it has GRS certification and is a recycled fabric, making it sustainable and environmentally friendly. The printed design adds a touch of originality and attractiveness to any project.
Regarding its care, it is recommended not to use bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at low temperature, and avoid using a tumble dryer to extend its lifespan.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows high-quality and resistant designs to be printed on elastic fabrics such as Lycra. This process involves transferring ink to the fabric using heat and pressure, creating a durable bond between the design and the fabric fiber.
