Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The Lycra Polyester fabric - Cairo stands out for its composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, giving it a soft and elastic texture that makes it ideal for manufacturing sportswear, lingerie, and fashion of all kinds. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is characterized by being chlorine resistant and having a very high UV protection factor of 50+.

The printed design is presented in a simple complexity, perfect for home decoration and rugs. With a velvet texture and in multi-colored tones, this design can be combined with plain tones of navy blue, light green, or yellow. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the design on one side by digital textile printing.

Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to its good adaptation to sportswear, lingerie, and fashion, it is also an excellent option for making bikinis and swimsuits.

As for the care that should be taken into account, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, allows dry cleaning (except trichloroethylene), iron at a cool temperature and avoid tumble drying.

All manufacturing of this fabric is done using sublimation printing technology (polyester), which allows the design to be integrated into the fabric surface permanently without leaving a layer on it.
