The Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm is a technical polyester fabric with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its water-repellent finish makes it ideal for use in fashion as jackets or raincoats, as well as in home textiles such as shower curtains. Its printed design is characterized by a simple modern art style inspired by a hurricane, with a touch of smoke that gives it depth. The main multicolor design can be easily combined with solid tones in white, black, gray, or navy blue, achieving an elegant contrast.
The fabric printed with the single-sided design using digital textile printing is characterized by its soft texture and delicate feel, making it ideal for comfortable garments. The fabric has a waterproof finish, making it moisture-resistant and easy to clean. Its low weight and thinness make it perfect for light but resistant garments in the winter season.
The applications and uses of this fabric go beyond what is described. In addition to its use for jackets, raincoats, and shower curtains, it can also be used for backpacks, umbrellas, bedding, and much more. Everything will depend on the creativity and technical knowledge of the designer when thinking about new applications and uses.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it should be noted that it cannot be bleached, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and it cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried. In addition, it should be ironed at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the printed design.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process allows for high-quality ink transfer to the fabric, achieving definition and durability of the printed design. The printing is done through a sublimation process in which the ink turns into gas and penetrates the fibers of the fabric. In this way, a high-quality fabric with a durable and wash-resistant print is achieved.
