The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is a soft and elastic fabric with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Its printed design features artistic elements, colorful, bright drawings with a smoky touch on a dark forest green, milk chocolate brown, and dark orange background. It would combine perfectly with plain fabrics in beige, white, black, and navy blue, among others. This fabric is digitally printed on one side only.
The fabric has general characteristics such as a soft and elastic texture, being chlorine resistant, and having a high-quality UV protection factor (UPF 50+). The printed design offers an artistic and colorful feel to the fabric, standing out for its brightness and detailed drawings. Among the applications and uses of the fabric, it can be highlighted for womens, mens, and childrens sportswear, lingerie, bodysuits, bras, knitwear, tops, bikinis, and swimsuits. Additionally, scrunchies can also be made with this fabric.
This fabric requires certain care to maintain its quality in good condition long-term, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not tumble drying, ironing at a cool temperature, and dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene. It is important to take these details into account to extend the durability of the fabric.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, a technique in which the design turns into gas and is transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure, allowing for a durable fixation of the design to the fabric.
