The Amsterdam satin fabric features a bright visual texture and a smooth, delicate feel, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its 100% polyester composition gives it great resistance and durability, making it ideal for use in womens and mens fashion, as well as in lingerie and accessories. The fabric is printed with a single-sided patterned design using digital textile printing, in which warm and vibrant tones predominate, with a floral and botanical pattern highlighting tulips. The design, in a decorative and modern style, presents standard complexity and high quality in details.
The Amsterdam print combines perfectly with plain fabrics in neutral tones, such as whites, grays, or blacks, or vibrant colors that accentuate its chromatic palette, such as reds, oranges, or purples. In terms of general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its elegance and subtlety, being suitable for creating haute couture garments and accessories, thanks to its texture and drape. The printed design, for its part, has an artistic and modern style that makes it perfect for creating feminine garments and avant-garde accessories.
As for its applications and uses, this fabric is very versatile, being usable for making shirts, blouses, skirts, pants, tops, and jumpsuits, as well as for creating lingerie pieces, pajamas, dresses, and scarves. Its season is seemingly timeless, but it also fits perfectly for autumn and winter 2021. Regarding the care that should be provided, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and not to subject it to a dry cleaning process with trichloroethylene, being suitable for hand or machine washing with a maximum temperature of 40°C, ironing at a warm temperature, and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a process by which the design image is transferred onto the fabric thanks to the application of heat and pressure. This ensures high print quality and durability of the print, as well as the possibility of printing high-definition images, intense tones, and subtle details. In summary, the Amsterdam satin fabric with its botanical and floral printed design possesses great elegance and subtlety, making it perfect for the creation of a wide variety of avant-garde garments and accessories.
