Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The fabric we are discussing is Tweed - Chanel, a tweed-type fabric composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design has a simple complexity, with a vector pattern in shades of silk blue, cotton white, and gainsboro gray, inspired by the nature of the sky and clouds. This design symbolizes the liberation and tranquility found in open landscapes. It can be combined with solid colors such as black, dark gray, beige, or navy blue.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, allowing for great precision in design definition and high quality in colors and textures. The fabrics texture is stiff to the touch and is designed for fashion applications such as jackets, coats, dresses, and skirts, as well as accessories like bow ties and caps. It is also suitable for making cushions for living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens, as well as for outdoor decoration.
Chanel tweed fabric is resistant and durable, but certain care guidelines are recommended to extend its lifespan, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which is successfully used for polyester-based textiles. The ink is applied in gas form directly into the fabric fibers, achieving deeper penetration and much greater durability than other printing processes.
