Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Chanel Tweed fabric is a Tweed-type fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 420 gr/m2. With a width of 150 cm, this fabric stands out for its rigidity to the touch. The printed design on it is a highly complex watercolor abstraction, with a drawn and botanical style and a floral nature that includes artistic flowers, pictorial florals, and roses. The design is primarily multicolor, combining different shades in a harmonious and vibrant blend that could be complemented with solid colors such as black, white, or pink.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is a single-sided printed fabric and the other side remains in its base color. Furthermore, the printed design does not easily come off or wear out, and its quality is maintained for a long time.
The Chanel Tweed base fabric stands out for its rigidity and wear resistance, making it ideal for fashion applications for both men and women, especially for jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, and accessories such as caps and bow ties. It can also be used for living room, bedroom, or kitchen cushions, as well as outdoor decorative cushions.
Regarding fabric care, it should not be bleached or subjected to temperatures above 30ºC in the washing machine. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, as long as trichloroethylene is not used. For ironing, it is recommended to do so at a cool temperature and avoid tumble drying.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows a complete transfer of the design to the base fabric with spectacular quality and resolution that is not achieved with other printing methods.
