The fabric were here to talk about today is the Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok, which is characterized by being composed of 100% polyester, having a weight of 90 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is ideal for making lingerie, dresses, skirts, blouses, scarves or handkerchiefs due to its translucent visual texture and its pleated finish.
The printed design on this fabric is composed of multicolored Vichy checks and is printed on one side by digital textile printing. This design, besides being a symbol of vintage fashion, has great versatility when combined with other solid colors such as red, white, black, or blue, allowing for the creation of retro or modern outfits.
As for its characteristics, the Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok stands out for being soft to the touch, light, resistant, in addition to having excellent drape and high durability. On the other hand, the colors of the printed design are clear and bright, which highlights the combination of the checks and creates an attractive and pleasant effect to the eye.
Regarding its applications and uses, as already mentioned, the Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok is very versatile in creating garments, especially for making wedding dresses, party dresses, accessories, and lingerie.
As for the care this fabric requires, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry clean except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry. This will ensure greater durability of the garment and the preservation of the printed design.
Finally, it is important to highlight that this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which is used exclusively on polyester fabrics. This technology allows the use of special inks that, when applied to the fabric and through high temperatures and pressures, the dye sublimates and integrates with the fabric fibers, achieving high-quality and durable results.
