The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is characterized by being very simple, with a graphic pattern of circles and dots in green and white tones, with a decorative style. This design can be perfectly combined with solid colors such as white, black, green, or blue.
This fabric has a soft and elastic texture, with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection of 50+. It can be used for making lingerie, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, tights, and leggings, as well as for swimwear fashion. In addition, its sublimation printing technology allows the design to be printed on one side by digital textile printing, which guarantees high print quality.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not tumble dry, and iron at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
Sublimation printing technology is based on transferring a design from a printer to special transfer paper, which is used to transfer the design to the fabric. It is printed with special inks that evaporate upon contact with the fabrics polyester, thus producing a high-quality print that is resistant to washing and rubbing. With this printing technology, the fabric is printed with a single layer of ink, which gives a soft and elastic feel to the touch and guarantees the durability of the design.
