The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is a stretchy and soft-to-the-touch fabric, which is chlorine resistant, making it ideal for sportswear and swimwear. Its composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane provides its characteristic elasticity, allowing for a perfect fit to the body. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is a versatile and resistant fabric.
The printed design of this fabric is pictorial and decorative, inspired by nature and specifically by wildflowers. With main colors representing 44.81% and 20.72%, this design adds an artistic touch to garments made with this fabric. In addition, it can be combined with other plain colors such as white, black, and green, to create contrasts or harmonies depending on the desired style.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using the digital textile printing technique. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, which must be taken into account during the manufacturing process.
In terms of general characteristics, Polyester Lycra - Cairo offers a soft and elastic texture, making it very comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and has a Very High UV Protection 50+ certification, making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its versatility allows its use in a wide range of products. From sportswear for men, women, and children, to lingerie, bras, tops, and bikinis. It can even be used for making scrunchies, swimsuits, and knitted garments.
To keep this fabric in optimal condition, it is important to follow certain care instructions. It is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40°C, and avoid the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning. It should also be ironed at a cool temperature and avoided drying in a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester. This technique consists of the transfer of inks through heat and pressure, achieving a lasting and wash-resistant fixation of the design on the fabric. This process guarantees the quality and sharpness of the print.
