The base fabric is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is perfect for use in decoration and upholstery for chairs, armchairs, sofas, cushions, baskets, and also in fashion for making trousers, overshirts, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, vests, bags, and backpacks. It is a fabric with a soft texture to the touch and visually shiny. Furthermore, its printed design is characterized by its artistic and decorative style, with floral motifs of wild flowers. The main colors of the design are predominantly 44.81% of a specific color and 20.72% of another color.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that the design is only on one side of the fabric, and the reverse remains plain and unprinted.
Regarding general characteristics, Velvety Corduroy - Dublin offers a soft texture to the touch, providing a pleasant sensation upon contact with the skin. Additionally, it stands out visually for its shine, which gives it an elegant and striking appearance.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its versatility is remarkable. In the field of decoration, it is ideal for upholstering furniture such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making cushions and decorative baskets. Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended to follow the following instructions: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not dry clean, dry cleaning is allowed but avoiding the use of trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not allowed. These recommendations will help maintain the quality and appearance of the fabric over time.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This printing technique allows the colors to be vibrant and long-lasting, providing a high-quality finish to the printed design on the fabric. Sublimation is carried out by applying heat and pressure, which allows the pigments to turn into gas and penetrate the fibers of the fabric, thus ensuring a durable print resistant to washing and wear.
