The Glasgow cloth is a trilaminated fabric composed of polyester, viscose, and elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its texture is soft to the touch, ensuring great comfort when worn. The printed design stands out for its artistic complexity, inspired by the nature of sunflowers and plants, with a decorative and botanical style reminiscent of Van Goghs works. The main colors of the design are dark forest green, hazelnut brown, and muddy brown.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using polyester sublimation technology, which ensures high quality and durability in the colors and details of the design. It should be noted that the fabric is not printed on both sides.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Glasgow cloth base fabric is ideal for making coats, trench coats, jackets, vests, and blazers, for both men and women. It can also be used in interior decoration, such as coasters for the dining room and kitchen towels. Its season of use focuses on winter and autumn/winter 2021.
It is important to keep in mind some care instructions to maintain the fabric in optimal conditions. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a warm temperature. For drying, a tumble dryer cannot be used.
The printing technology used in this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process consists of transferring ink through heat and pressure, which ensures a perfect fixation of the design on the fabric. This printing method is highly resistant to washing and wear, thus extending the products lifespan.
In summary, the Glasgow cloth is a high-quality and resistant fabric, with a complex and artistic printed design inspired by nature. Its softness to the touch and its wide variety of applications make it an ideal option for outerwear and decorative elements. With proper care, this fabric ensures exceptional durability.
