The fabric in question is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, a type of corduroy composed mainly of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its weight is 280 gr/m2 and its fabric width is 150 cm. This fabric is characterized by being soft to the touch and having a brilliant visual texture.
The printed design on this fabric is artistic in style, with pictorial and botanical elements, especially highlighting sunflowers and leafy plants. In addition, the design has a certain complexity in its composition and is inspired by the work of Van Gogh. The main colors of this design are dark forest green, hazelnut brown, and muddy brown.
Regarding the combination of solid colors, this fabric would combine very well with neutral tones such as white, beige, or gray, as they would allow the printed design to be the protagonist. It could also be combined with more intense tones such as emerald green or orange to give it a touch of contrast.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is on only one side of the fabric and not on both sides.
Regarding the general characteristics of this fabric, apart from its soft texture and visual brilliance, it is important to mention that it is a suitable fabric for both decoration and fashion. In decoration, it can be used for upholstering chairs, sofas, cushions, baskets, among others. In fashion, it is ideal for making pants, blazers, jackets, bags, and backpacks, among other accessories.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C and not use bleach. The garment does not allow dry cleaning, although it is suitable for dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is recommended to use a cold temperature and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process consists of transferring liquid ink to a gaseous state that adheres to the polyester fibers of the fabric. This allows obtaining high-quality designs and color fidelity.
