The fabric in question is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, a Crepe composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. With a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric has a soft and elastic texture, which makes it very comfortable to wear. Its printed design combines several attributes, such as a pictorial, complex, artistic, botanical, decorative, and floral appearance. It is inspired by nature, with sunflowers and leafy plants as the main protagonists.
The main colors that stand out in this design are dark forest green at 42.49%, hazelnut brown at 19.35%, and mud brown at 13.89%. These warm tones complement other plain colors very well, such as beige, black, white, or gold, which would help highlight the different elements of the print.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design only on one side, using the textile digital printing technique. This technique allows for a precise and detailed reproduction of the design, ensuring high quality in colors and details.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, apart from its soft and elastic texture, it is important to mention that it is suitable for fashion garments for both women and men. It can be used in the making of various types of garments, such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. Its versatility makes it a great choice for any season.
As for the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is recommended to use a cool temperature, avoiding direct contact with the printed design. In addition, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, specifically designed for polyester. This process involves the application of heat and pressure on the ink pigments, allowing them to turn into vapor and penetrate the fabric fibers. As a result, a resistant, durable, and high-quality print is obtained.
