This fabric is chlorine resistant and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
The printed design features a combination of abstract and watercolor styles, with predominant shapes of circles and dots. The main colors are Night Black and Iron Gray, giving it an elegant and sophisticated look. In addition, this design can be perfectly combined with solid colors such as white, navy blue, or emerald green.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on only one side using digital textile printing, which means that the design is not visible on the reverse. This gives you the possibility to use the fabric in a versatile way, either for clothing or for decoration.
Regarding its general characteristics, this Lycra Nairobi fabric is elastic and resistant, which makes it perfect for fitted and sportswear. In addition, its chlorine-resistant finish guarantees its durability, even in aquatic environments. The UV protection factor offers excellent protection against sun rays, making it a good option for swimwear.
Regarding applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for making lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and sports tights/leggings. Its versatility also makes it suitable for fashion swimwear.
As for care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a low temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design by heat and pressure onto the surface of the fabric. This guarantees the high quality and durability of the print, as it fuses with the fibers of the fabric. This technology allows for a wide range of colors and precise details in the design.
