The Recycled Microfiber Fabric - Biarritz has a composition of 100% polyester, with a weight of 110 gr/m2 and a width of 147 cm. This fabric is sustainable, GRS certified, thanks to its recycled origin. Its feel is soft and its texture thin, which makes it ideal for making fashion garments, accessories and bags, as well as sports apparel, swimwear and Bermuda shorts. It is also suitable for making wallets and swimsuits.
The printed design of this fabric features artistic and colorful attributes. It is characterized by its Christmas style, with pictorial and drawn elements in the shape of candy canes. The main colors of this design are mint green at 86.5%, followed by light aquamarine at 5.36% and dark red at 5.22%. These colors add a fresh and festive touch to the design, and combine especially well with neutral tones such as white, grey and black.
It is important to note that the design is printed on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the image and colors are only visible on one side of the fabric. On the reverse, the fabric has a plain, unprinted appearance.
As for the general characteristics of the fabric, its soft and thin texture makes it comfortable to wear and handle. In addition, thanks to its polyester composition, it is wear-resistant and easy to care for.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is ideal for making fashion garments for both men and women, such as blouses, shirts, dresses and skirts. It can also be used for making curtains, cushions and other decorative items for the home.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30°C and not to use bleach. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. It should not be tumble dried to avoid deterioration of the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, specifically designed for polyester fabrics. This process consists of transferring the design printed on paper to the fabric, by applying heat and pressure. The result is a high-quality print, durable and wash-resistant.
