The Retro Velvet - Paris fabric is a velvet fabric composed of 93% polyester and 7% elastane, with a weight of 245 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features Houndstooth shapes in main colors such as corn yellow and cotton white. This design would combine very well with solid colors such as black, gray, or dark green.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which gives it excellent quality and definition in the drawing. Its general characteristics include a soft and shiny texture, as well as an elasticity that makes it perfect for tight-fitting garments.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, it can be used for making dresses, blazers, upholstery, cushions, sportswear, lingerie, and other textile accessories. Its ideal season is for autumn/winter.
Regarding the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, hand wash, and allow dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. It is not suitable for ironing or tumble drying.
The printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation, which means that the design is transferred to the fabric by heat and pressure, allowing for durability and fixation of the print on the fabric.
