The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is a 100% polyester waterproof fabric, distinguished by its vintage-style printed design inspired by the 60s and its delicate floral nature with multiple colors that evoke a vibrant garden. This combination of attributes not only brings life to the garment but also provides a nostalgic and cheerful aesthetic, perfect for those seeking a touch of originality in their outfits. The design is printed on one side using digital textile printing, ensuring intense and long-lasting colors, while the unprinted side retains the fabrics softness and resistance.
The fabric has interesting characteristics that highlight its functionality and aesthetics. Its water-repellent finish and thin, smooth textures ensure a comfortable and lightweight experience when worn. Furthermore, the fabrics impermeability makes it a suitable option for outdoor use, ensuring the user stays protected from rain and humidity. As for the color palette that complements the printed design, plain tones such as emerald green, navy blue, soft gray, or off-white could harmonize perfectly, providing visual balance and sophisticated elegance.
The versatility of the fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is evident in its multiple applications and uses. Ideal for mens and womens fashion, it is perfect for jackets, raincoats, puffer jackets, and is also used in home textiles, such as shower curtains, cushions, and bed protectors. Thanks to its resistance and attractive design, it can be used in patio and outdoor decoration, making this fabric a preferred choice for designers who seek to combine functionality with style, especially in garments and accessories intended for outdoor activities.
Regarding fabric care, it is essential to follow certain guidelines to maintain its quality. It should not be bleached, and the maximum washing temperature should be 40ºC. This fabric is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the print. Likewise, it is important to avoid using a tumble dryer to preserve the integrity of the fabric and its print.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows ink to be transferred directly onto the fabrics surface through heat. This method is particularly effective on polyester, as the ink turns into gas and penetrates the fabric fibers, creating vibrant, durable, and fade-resistant prints over time. This ensures that the printed design not only remains visually attractive but also retains the fabrics softness and water-repellent characteristics.
