Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Tweed - Chanel fabric, made of 100% polyester, features a vibrant printed design that evokes the styles of the 60s, imbued with a vintage air and adorned with multicolored floral patterns that bring any creation to life. This attractive design unfolds on only one side of the fabric, allowing the reverse to maintain uniformity, ideal for projects where a clean and sophisticated finish is desired. The predominant tones can be easily combined with solid colors such as black, white, gray, or pastel shades, facilitating the creation of versatile and elegant outfits and decorations.
The Tweed - Chanel fabric is characterized by its weight of 420 gr/m², which gives it a rigidity that translates into firm structures, perfect for jackets, blazers, and coats. Additional applications include the creation of skirts and dresses, as well as home textiles, where it can be used for cushions, curtains, and rugs, among others. The texture of the fabric is ideal for pieces that require controlled drape and a well-defined fall, ensuring that designs maintain their shape and elegance. The versatility of this fabric allows it to be used in both womens and mens fashion, and in a variety of accessories that seek a contemporary and striking finish.
Regarding care, it is essential to follow the instructions to maintain the integrity of the fabric. It is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is viable, except with trichloroethylene. In addition, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and tumble drying should be avoided, which ensures that the texture and design are preserved in perfect condition.
The printing technology used is sublimation, an ideal process for polyester fabrics that allows for deep integration of color into the fiber. This means that the design is transferred to the fabric using heat, ensuring that the colors are vibrant and long-lasting. Unlike other printing methods, sublimation results in a soft-to-the-touch finish and avoids increasing the thickness of the fabric, thus maintaining the desired rigidity of the tweed. This not only enhances the aesthetic of the design but also reinforces the durability of the fabric, allowing the fabric and its print to continue to look fresh and attractive over time.
