The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is characterized by its extraordinary functionality and aesthetics. Its design features an abstract and distorted pattern that plays with dark shapes and colors, creating a multicolor visual effect that results in a unique and modern piece.
This fabric, made of 100% polyester, not only has a thin and smooth texture, which gives it lightness and softness to the touch, but also possesses water-repellent properties. Its weight of 70 gr/m² makes it ideal for applications in various fashion garments and home textiles. It can be perfectly combined with solid colors such as black, gray, navy blue, or dark green, which enhance and complement the richness of the design without overshadowing it.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, ensuring maximum quality in details and intensity of colors. Being printed on one side, this fabric allows a stylized presentation of the design, while the back maintains the typical uniformity of polyester.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its impermeability, which gives it a water-repellent finish, allowing water droplets to slide over its surface without being absorbed. This makes it a highly functional option for products that require protection against moisture. On the other hand, the printed design, with its abstract shapes and vibrant colors, adds an attractive visual element that elevates the aesthetic appearance of any product made with this fabric.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the creation of fashion for both women and men, including jackets, raincoats, and puffer jackets. In addition, it is ideal for creating home textiles, such as shower curtains, bed protectors, and cushions, allowing homes to remain dry and stylish. In the sports field, raincoats and jackets are used that combine functionality and style, resulting in garments that offer protection against the elements without sacrificing aesthetics.
The care of this fabric is essential to maintain its quality over time. It is recommended to avoid bleaching and not subject the garment to temperatures above 40ºC when washing. It is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cold temperature to avoid damage. In addition, it cannot be tumble dried, which ensures that the fabric retains its shape and water-repellent properties.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation, a process that allows the ink to convert into gas and penetrate the polyester fibers, thus ensuring a durable print with vibrant colors resistant to wear and light. This technique is ideal for complex patterns such as the one presented by this fabric, ensuring that the designs maintain their integrity and beauty even after multiple washes.
