The Paño - Glasgow fabric is a soft, high-quality wool-like fabric whose technical base is complemented by a multi-color printed design that evokes abstract shapes and motifs inspired by gastronomy, such as cotton candy, chocolate, and colorful sweets. This special combination makes the fabric ideal for creative and novel projects seeking a fun and festive touch.
The design features vibrant pastel colors that add a fresh and cheerful air, perfect for those who want to give a playful twist to their creations, from clothing to home decor. For a harmonious combination, this fabric can be complemented with solid colors such as white, light blue, or soft pink, which provide balance and softness to the vibrancy of the print. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which guarantees image quality and color durability, but it is not a double-sided printed fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the Paño – Glasgow fabric has a weight of 380 gr/m², which gives it a robust and consistent feel, in addition to its soft texture to the touch that makes it very pleasant in contact with the skin. Its composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane ensures that the fabric is easily manageable, offering elasticity and resistance to wear. The cheerful and colorful printed design not only attracts visually but also embellishes any item made with this fabric.
The applications and uses of the fabric are very varied. In the field of fashion, it is perfectly suitable for making coats, jackets, blazers, and vests. It also lends itself to the creation of lighter pieces, such as t-shirts and dresses, adding an original touch. In the home textile sector, it can be used for rugs, cushions, curtains, table runners, and even kitchen towels, making its use a creative and versatile resource that combines functionality and aesthetics. Undoubtedly, it is a fabric that adapts to different needs and environments, from clothing to decoration.
For the care of this fabric, it is essential to follow some specific instructions to maintain its quality and durability. It is recommended not to bleach this type of fabric and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is not allowed, and it is advisable to iron at a warm temperature to avoid damage. In addition, the dryer should be avoided; instead, it is better to air dry, thus preserving the integrity of the fabric and the print.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which is applied on a polyester base. This technique allows inks to be transferred to the fabric through heat, causing the colors to penetrate the fibers of the fabric, resulting in a vibrant finish that is resistant to wear and washing. Sublimation is especially suitable for complex and colorful designs, making it the perfect choice for this type of playful and cheerful print.
