The Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm is a hydrophobic fabric, made of 100% polyester, offering a soft and smooth touch. Its design, featuring abstract shapes inspired by gastronomy, includes striking motifs of cotton candy, chocolate, caramel, cupcakes, donuts, cakes, jelly beans, and gummy bears, creating an explosion of pastel colors that evoke playful and cheerful sensations. This fabric, which allows for versatile combination with solid colors like white, light pink, or mint green, is printed on one side using digital textile printing, ensuring the design maintains precise visual quality without alterations on the unprinted side.
The general characteristics of this fabric make it an ideal choice for a wide variety of applications. Its waterproof finish and hydrophobic properties make it perfect for fashion garments such as jackets, raincoats, and puffer jackets for men, women, and children. Additionally, it lends itself to uses in home textiles, such as shower curtains, cushions, and bed protectors. Its lightweight grammage of 70 gr/m² and width of 145 cm are convenient for manufacturing products designed to withstand humid conditions, making it also suitable for outdoor decoration and kitchen textiles.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum of 40ºC. It is important to note that it is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cool temperature, in addition to avoiding the use of a tumble dryer. These care instructions are essential to maintain the durability of the fabric and preserve the characteristics of the printed design.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows special inks to be transferred to polyester through heat. During this process, ink particles turn into gas and penetrate the fabric fibers, resulting in a vibrant and high-quality finish, resistant to wear and fading. This method ensures that the design prints with great clarity and detail, making the fine water-repellent fabric an attractive and functional product in both fashion and home applications.
