Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Tweed - Chanel fabric is a 420 gr/m² polyester fabric with a printed design featuring red plaid shapes on a multicolor background, evoking a classic and contemporary style. This advantageous combination of patterns and colors gives it a vibrant and elegant touch, ideal for sophisticated and modern garments that can be combined with other solid colors such as white, black, or beige to accentuate its distinctive character. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, not being a double-sided printed fabric.
Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric is stiff to the touch, which provides a solid and durable structure, suitable for garments that require good support, such as jackets, blazers, and coats. The design, in addition to being visually attractive, allows the fabric to be used in various applications within fashion and home decor. The versatility of this fabric translates into a wide range of possible creations: from elegant dresses and skirts to accessories such as bow ties and ties. It is also recommended for creating decorative elements in the home, such as cushions, curtains, and table runners, bringing an air of sophistication and comfort to any space.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is essential to follow some recommendations to keep it in optimal condition. Bleaching should be avoided, and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Although dry cleaning is allowed, caution should be exercised not to use trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is advisable to do so at a cool temperature and not to use a tumble dryer, thus avoiding damage to the texture and color of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used to create this design is sublimation on polyester. This process allows the dyes to be absorbed by the fabric fibers, generating a durable and wear-resistant print, as well as a wide range of vibrant colors that do not fade easily. Sublimation is especially suitable for polyester fabrics, as it allows for a high-quality finish, ideal for the fashion and home textile applications that characterize the Tweed - Chanel fabric.
