The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a corduroy fabric with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design consists of circles, specks, dots, and polka dots in white, light blue, and medium blue tones. This design has a soft and shiny texture that gives it a feeling of elegance and sophistication. Additionally, the fabric is digitally printed on one side, making it ideal for upholstery, decoration, and creating fashion garments. This fabric is suitable for combining with neutral tones such as gray and beige, as well as with other blue and white tones.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric is soft to the touch and has a slightly padded texture that gives it a velvety appearance. The printed design, for its part, is bright and visually appealing. This fabric is very versatile and can be used for upholstering furniture, decorating spaces, making clothes, and accessories. The applications that can be given to it are wide, as it adapts to different styles of decoration and fashion.
As for care, it is important to avoid bleaching and washing at temperatures above 30ºC. The garment does not admit dry cleaning, but it does admit dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. In addition, it is advisable to iron at a cool temperature and avoid tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process consists of printing the design on transfer paper and then adhering it to the fabric using heat and pressure, which allows the creation of high-quality and durable prints.
