The Recycled Lycra fabric is an elastic and soft fabric, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. Its printed design features circles and dots in the main colors of night black, mustard yellow, and light orange. This color combination harmonizes perfectly with solid tones such as white, black, red, and turquoise. The fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which ensures excellent image quality and detail.
Regarding its general characteristics, Recycled Lycra stands out for its softness to the touch, its great elasticity, and its chlorine resistance. In addition, it has a very high UV protection factor of 50+ and is certified with the GRS seal as a recycled fabric. Regarding applications and uses, this fabric is perfect for making swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as for making scrunchies. It is also suitable for creating fashion garments such as dresses and tops.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is important to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach. It is also not advisable to dry clean or tumble dry. As for ironing, it should be done at a cool temperature to avoid damaging or deforming the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows printing with great precision and sharpness on synthetic fabrics such as Recycled Lycra. This process is carried out by transferring ink through heat and pressure, which guarantees the durability and resistance of the print.
