The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The fabric is chlorine resistant and has a very high protection factor of 50+ against UV rays. The printed design is a variant of the classic Houndstooth pattern, which becomes the protagonist of this fabric with the main colors canary yellow (54.47%) and cotton white (43.94%), as well as a small proportion of corn yellow (0.73%). This single-sided printed design by digital textile printing looks good when combined with any bright solid color, such as cherry red, turquoise, or lime green.
The Polyester Lycra - Nairobi has a soft and flexible texture that gives it a pleasant feel on the skin and makes it ideal for applications in lingerie, bodysuits, swimwear (bikinis, swimsuits), leggings, and sports leotards, as well as for fashion garments such as tight dresses and skirts. In addition, thanks to its chlorine resistance, this fabric can also be used for swimming and water exercise garments.
It is important to take into account the specific care for this fabric, which includes avoiding bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40°C, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which uses special inks that turn into gas when heated, allowing the colors of the image to be transferred directly to the textile fiber. This digital textile printing process guarantees sharp and durable image quality, and allows a single-sided design to be printed on the fabric with great precision and detail.
