The Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric is a 190 gr/m2 lycra with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. Its printed design features snowflake shapes in multicolored tones, with a touch of ice that gives it a unique style. The fabric is digitally printed on one side. It is a soft and elastic fabric, chlorine-resistant and with very high UV protection 50+.
Regarding the applications of the fabric, it can be used for making hair ties, scrunchies, bikinis, swimsuits, and fashion clothing in general. In addition, its GRS certification and its sustainability feature as a recycled fabric make it an environmentally friendly option.
It is important to take into account the necessary care for this fabric, which includes not bleaching, washing at maximum temperatures of 40°C, not dry cleaning, ironing at cold temperatures, and not tumble drying.
This fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation printing technology, which is an ink transfer process carried out through heat and pressure, converting the ink into gas and fixing it to the fabric. This ensures greater durability and wash resistance.
As for the combination of plain colors, it can be combined with shades of green, white, light blue, or pastel pink to highlight the style of the printed design and give a fresh and youthful touch to the manufactured garment. In short, Recycled Lycra - Recycled becomes an excellent option for making swimwear and fashion garments, with its sustainable characteristics and the protection it provides to the skin.
