The base fabric is the Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. This fabric has been specially designed to offer a waterproof and water-repellent finish while maintaining a rough feel, which provides a very pleasant texture upon contact with the skin. In addition, it features an antibacterial finish that ensures greater hygiene and freshness.
The printed design consists of snowflakes, a simple and elegant shape that adds a winter touch to any garment or accessory. The complexity in the simplicity of this design stands out, achieving an ice effect thanks to its combination of multicolored tones. This design can be combined with plain fabrics in blue, gray, or white tones to achieve a more powerful winter effect.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which guarantees high quality and durability of the design. It is important to note that this fabric is not printed on both sides, but only on one side.
The general characteristics of this fabric include its water-repellent and waterproof capacity, its specific texture, and its antibacterial finish. These characteristics make it an ideal option for garments and accessories dedicated to outdoor activities.
The uses and applications of this fabric are very wide, including fashion, accessories, decoration, and home. In fashion, it is ideal for making trousers, purses, backpacks, and wallets, among others. In decoration, it can be used for making frames, pictures, cushions, and tablecloths, as well as for upholstery of sun loungers.
Regarding necessary care, it is important to avoid bleaching and not exceed 60ºC washing temperature. Dry cleaning is recommended, except with trichloroethylene, and ironing at a warm temperature. The tumble dryer should not be used.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing the design onto transfer paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process ensures faithful reproduction of the design and great durability.
