Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel fabric is a type of Tweed fabric made from 100% high-density polyester. It has a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a fabric width of 150 cm. This fabric has a rigid texture and a firm feel, ideal for outerwear such as jackets, blazers, and coats. Additionally, it is also suitable for making skirts, dresses, blousons, and vests, and for manufacturing home cushions.
The printed design features a botanical style with floral nature and plants with petals. The main colors of the design are multicolor, and could be combined with solid colors such as black, gray, white, dark blue, emerald green, and red, among others.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which gives it greater definition and sharpness. It is important to note that it is not a fabric printed on both sides.
In terms of general characteristics, Tweed - Chanel fabric is of high quality and resistance, being very durable over time. Furthermore, thanks to its weight and rigid texture, it adapts very well to outerwear and cushions.
Among the extended applications and uses for this fabric are the creation of shorts and bermudas, the manufacturing of accessories such as bow ties or sports caps, or the making of vests for athletes. It is also a good option for outdoor decoration with cushions.
Regarding its maintenance, it is recommended not to bleach and not to tumble dry. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that consists of printing the design on transfer paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows for designs with high definition and very precise details.
