The Velvet Corduroy – Dublin is a corduroy fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is characterized by complex, colorful star shapes. This motif adds a soft and shiny texture to the base fabric, highlighting the softness of the finish. The multitude of star colors allows the fabric to be combined with plain white, cream, brown, and green tones. It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
The fabric itself is soft to the touch and visually striking thanks to its velvety background. In addition, the resistance and elasticity of the elastane give it greater comfort and durability. The complexity of the design adds character and dynamism to the fabric, making it ideal for making jackets, blousons, or vests in winter. It is also perfect for accessories such as bags or backpacks. In addition to the aforementioned applications, the Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is suitable for home decorations such as upholstery for sofas, armchairs, or chairs, cushions, baskets, or even bedding.
Regarding its care, bleaching should be avoided, and we recommend not exceeding 30ºC for washing. It is important to note that the garment does not allow dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and a tumble dryer should not be used.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of the Velvet Corduroy – Dublin is sublimation (polyester), which allows for greater integration of the design into the fabric and greater precision in print quality. In this process, pigments are transferred directly to the polyester fibers through heat and pressure, producing vibrant and wash-resistant images.
