Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a fabric of 260 gr/m2 and 160 cm wide, composed of 100% polyester and certified as sustainable with GRS certification. Its printing technology is sublimation, which allows the single-sided printed design to have attributes such as complexity, abstract, photographic, and modern art style, all combined in multicolor tones. This fabric is rough, rigid, and opaque to the touch and sight. The printed design combines very well with plain fabrics in shades of green, white, red, etc.
The general characteristics of the fabric and the design printed on it make it very suitable for applications and uses in home textiles as well as in fashion, decorations, accessories, and upholstery. Its roughness and rigidity make it ideal for baskets and frames and as a base for paintings, while its opacity makes it perfect for outdoor cushions and curtains. In fashion, it can be used for all types of accessories, such as wallets, backpacks, hats, and tote bags, as well as for trousers and kitchen aprons.
It is important to note that this fabric should be washed at a maximum of 30ºC, not bleached, and ironed at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning with solvents is also allowed, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Sublimation printing technology allows the design to be printed on the fabric so that it is printed only on one of its sides. This process consists of printing the design on transfer paper and then applying heat and pressure to the fabric to transfer the design to the fabrics surface.
