Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Tweed - Chanel is a tweed-type fabric with a composition of 100% polyester, weighing 420 gr/m2 and with a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is characterized by being colorful and retro, with squares and checks in the style of a tile. Its main colors are varied, allowing it to be combined with different plain tones, such as white, black, beige, brown, blue, red, green, among others.
The printed design is single-sided, using digital textile printing, which means it is not a double-sided fabric but printed on one side only. The Tweed - Chanel stands out for its rigid texture, which makes it an ideal material for making outerwear (jackets, blazers, coats/trenches) and skirts. It can also be used for creating accessories (caps, bow ties), as well as for home textiles (cushions) and outdoor decoration.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, in addition to allowing dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and it should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of the Tweed - Chanel is polyester sublimation, which allows for a faithful reproduction of the design on the fabric. This printing technique is widely used in the manufacturing of fabrics that require high definition and image quality, making the Tweed - Chanel a fabric with a very sharp and high-quality print.
