Recycled Microfiber Fabric - Biarritz is a 100% polyester microfiber with a weight of 110 gr/m2 and a width of 147 cm. It is certified as sustainable due to its recycling process and features a sublimation printing technology on polyester that brings the one-sided printed design to life. The design itself has standard complexity, is photographic in style, and is inspired by gastronomy through the image of peas. The main colors are multicolor, making it easily combinable with solid tones of any color present in the design.
Regarding the characteristics of the fabric and the printed design, we can state that it has a soft texture to the touch, making it ideal for fashion garments and accessories such as bags and and wallets. In addition, it has a certain rigidity that makes it perfect for sportswear such as Bermuda shorts and swimwear. As for the printed design, its gastronomic theme makes it ideal for making kitchen garments and themed accessories.
The applications and uses of recycled microfiber are broad and diverse. As for the care required for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned except for trichloroethylene, and it should be ironed at a cold temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
Sublimation printing technology on polyester is a process in which the design is printed on special paper with sublimable ink. Then, the paper is placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures so that the ink is transferred to the fabric. This process achieves a design with great detail and durability.
