The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is a technical fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a thin, smooth texture. Its water-repellent finish makes it waterproof, making it an ideal option for jackets, raincoats, and shower curtains in the winter season. This fabric has been applied with the sublimation printing technique (polyester), which allows reproducing the stamped design on one side with high complexity and a decorative and illustrative style.
The printed design features abstract stains in very bright and colorful colors, so it is capable of bringing a lot of dynamism and joy to any garment or accessory. It could be combined with plain tones such as black or white to add elegance and balance.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric is easy to handle and has great resistance to wear and wrinkles. In addition, the printed design provides high definition and high durability.
In terms of applications and uses, this fabric can be used for fashion (jackets), textile/home (shower curtains), and sports (raincoats and jackets).
It is important to note that this fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C, should not be bleached, and should be ironed at a low temperature.
Sublimation printing technology consists of applying heat and pressure on transfer paper that has been printed with special ink for polyester-based fabrics. In this way, the ink evaporates and permeates the fabric, creating a high-quality and durable print. It is important to mention that this technique can only be used on polyester-based fabrics.
