The Tweed - Chanel fabric is a rigid fabric with a characteristic tweed texture, composed of 100% polyester and with a weight of 420 gr/m2. Its printed design features abstract multicolor, complex, and decorative stains, printed using digital textile sublimation technology. The fabric is printed on one side only, so its reverse is smooth and uniform. Its main colors, multicolor, can be combined with solid tones such as white, black, beige, or brown.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is resistant and durable, ideal for making outerwear and accessories such as cushions and caps. The printed design provides an illustrative and creative style, perfect for fashion and decoration projects. Applications and uses are diverse, including jackets, blazers, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, shorts, Bermuda shorts, bow ties, and even cushions for the home.
For proper maintenance, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. It should not be tumble dried. It is important to consider these cares so that the fabric maintains its quality and resistance during use.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is digital textile sublimation, which allows the design to be transferred in high quality and definition onto the fabric. This process involves printing the designs on specific transfer paper with special inks, which is then subjected to heat and pressure in contact with the fabric, causing the inks to turn into a gaseous state and penetrate the fabric fiber to be permanently printed. The result is a fabric resistant to washing and wear, with a soft and shiny finish.
