The base fabric for this garment is an elastic knit crepe called Riga, which stands out for being soft to the touch and elastic, thanks to its composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. Its weight of 180 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm allow for the creation of comfortable and flattering garments. The printed design of maritime motifs in predominant shades of black, blue, and blood brown, is composed of wave shapes that reflect the nature of water. This design can combine very well with plain shades of off-white, beige, and neutral tones. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.
This fabric is elastic and soft to the touch, with a granulated finish that gives it a unique and original look. Furthermore, it presents a unique texture that adapts perfectly to any design. On the other hand, the printed design provides a nautical and relaxed style that is ideal for womens and mens fashion garments. Among the most suitable applications and uses are dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear.
It is important to consider certain care instructions to maintain the fabrics properties. It is recommended not to bleach the garment, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and allow dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene. It is recommended to iron at a cool temperature and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring a digital image to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process ensures high resolution and durability of the printed image.
