The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a corduroy fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is soft to the touch and visually bright, making it ideal for upholstery, decoration, or making winter garments and accessories. Additionally, it features a single-sided printed design using digital textile printing, with main colors being multicolor, iridescent, and bright. This design, of standard complexity, perfectly combines with solid colors such as white, black, brown, beige, and dark green.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its texture is soft and its visual is bright, which perfectly complements the style of the printed design. Furthermore, its use is versatile, as it can be used in a wide variety of applications, including indoor and outdoor decoration, fashion clothing, and accessories. Some specific applications include upholstering chairs and sofas, making pants, jackets, blazers, coats, handbags, and backpacks, among others.
For its care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning should also be avoided, and the dry cleaning method should be used except for trichloroethylene. The fabric can be ironed at a cool temperature, but a dryer should not be used to dry the fabric.
The printing technology used in this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows the colors to set on the fabric surface and the design to appear crisp and defined. It should be noted that the design is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which means there is no design on the back of the fabric.
