The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, is characterized by its elasticity and resistance, complemented by a striped design in multicolored hues that enhance its visual appeal. This vibrant and colorful design is ideal for garments that require both functionality and style, providing a modern and fresh touch. When combined with solid colors such as black, white, navy blue, or red, the design is accentuated, allowing for striking contrasts or subtle harmonies. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side using textile digital printing, ensuring that the color quality and definition of the print are maintained, offering a crisp finish full of nuances.
Polyester Lycra has characteristics that make it suitable for a wide variety of applications. Its elastic texture provides comfort and movement, making it a perfect choice for lingerie, sportswear, and swimwear. The chlorine-resistant finish and high UV protection (factor 50+) are ideal for use in water and sports activities, where durability and sun protection are essential. Garments made with this fabric are perfect for designing swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, expanding its potential in the sportswear and casual fashion sector. Furthermore, its use is adaptable to men, women, and children, making this fabric a versatile option for family wardrobes.
Regarding care, it is essential to follow the recommendations to maintain the integrity of the fabric. Bleach and high temperatures should be avoided during washing, opting for gentle cycles with cold water up to 40°C. Dry cleaning is permitted, except for the use of trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is advisable to use low temperatures to avoid damaging the material, and tumble drying should be avoided, as it could affect the elasticity and shape of the fabric. Following these guidelines ensures the longevity and excellent condition of garments made with this fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation, which allows the design to be transferred to the fabric in such a way that the inks turn into gas and penetrate the polyester fibers. This ensures that the print will not peel off or become disfigured over time. Sublimation is particularly effective on polyester fabrics, as it allows for a deep integration of color, resulting in vibrant and durable prints, ideal for active and dynamic use.
