The base fabric for our description is the Tromso Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric, a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has interesting characteristics such as its waterproof and water-repellent finish, combined with its antibacterial finish. As for the printed design of this fabric, it has a very simple style with marine and tropical touches. The design is mainly composed of waves that evoke the nature of water, both in the ocean and in crystal clear water. The color palette includes various multicolored tones that are used for the entire design. An interesting combination could be with solid colors such as white or navy blue. It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric and the design, we can highlight the rough texture combined with the soft touch of the polyester that composes it. The finish also offers great resistance to humidity. As for applications and uses, those related to fashion stand out, both for women and men, in trousers, backpacks, or wallets. It can also be used in decoration to bring life to cushions, tablecloths, or paintings, and even outdoors with sun loungers or garden cushions.
For the care of the fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to use a maximum washing temperature of 60ºC. Dry cleaning can be done, but not with trichloroethylene, and it should be ironed at a warm temperature. A tumble dryer should not be used to dry this fabric.
Finally, it is interesting to know the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric, which is polyester sublimation. This technique allows the printed design to be fully and durably integrated into the fabric without creating dryness, an effect that often occurs in other types of printed fabrics. The result is a design organically integrated with the fabric that does not lose quality over time and resists use without apparent wear.
