The Riga Elastic Knit Crepe is a crepe-type fabric with a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. It has a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric can be purchased in its natural color or be printed with designs provided by the client, thanks to the sublimation technology used for printing. The elastic and granular texture of this fabric makes it a versatile and quality option for making various garments.
The applications and uses of this fabric are broad and varied, encompassing both women's and men's fashion. Among the different garments in which this fabric can be used are dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, and cardigans. Furthermore, its elasticity and texture make it especially suitable for making knitwear, such as sweaters, jackets, and vests. It is also suitable for suits and form-fitting garments, thanks to the drape and movement provided by its composition.
It is important to consider the specific care instructions for this fabric, as following them correctly ensures its good preservation and durability. These care instructions include: do not bleach, maximum washing temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning allowed except for trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to customize this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester fabrics. Sublimation is a process in which ink turns into gas when heat is applied, allowing it to penetrate the fibers of the fabric and form a permanent bond with it. This results in a high-quality print, resistant to wear, with bright and defined colors that do not peel or fade easily. In summary, the Riga Elastic Knit Crepe is a versatile fabric, adaptable to different uses and styles, and can be customized using sublimation printing technology.
