Tweed - Chanel is a Tweed-type fabric, composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is known for its rigid texture and characteristic feel, making it a perfect material for making garments such as skirts, jackets, coats, among others. It can be purchased in its natural color or customized with designs provided by the client, which offers a wide range of creative possibilities.
In terms of sustainability, the polyester used in the manufacture of this Tweed - Chanel is a recyclable material, which contributes to a lower environmental impact. And the technique used to personalize this fabric also has a lower environmental impact compared to other printing techniques.
The applications and uses of Tweed - Chanel are varied and are not limited solely to fashion. In addition to being used in the manufacture of garments for women and men, such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets and vests, it can also be used in the manufacture of accessories such as bow ties, caps and in the sports field for vests. In the home textile sector, this fabric can be used in the production of cushions for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and outdoors, offering an elegant and sophisticated look to the decoration.
The necessary care to maintain the properties and appearance of Tweed - Chanel involves not using bleach products, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not tumble drying. It is also possible to dry clean, but avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. As for ironing, it should be done at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the fabric.
The printing technology used to personalize this fabric is sublimation, specifically indicated for polyester. Sublimation is a process by which ink turns into gas when exposed to high temperatures and adheres to the fabric, penetrating its fibers. This technique allows for vibrant and sharp colors, resistant to washing and wear, in addition to being more environmentally friendly compared to other printing techniques.
